be wary of sollux
i don’t normally get into drama especially not for callout type things but i think with lots of minors being in this community this is especially importnat, sollux @sollux, @raikou, @woobat @brionne and @primarina on twitter.
sollux is 21 years old and has CP (via fan art of characters who are minors), transphobic art, and bestiality and incest (which they even proudly tag) on their nsfw blog dating back to two years ago, but still going on to this day. if you’re a minor i strongly suggest not interacting with them for your own safety.

basically theres a lot more where all of this came from on sollux’s nsfw @oviposition. while the first two are from two years ago, a good portion of these are within the last year, and sollux has been an adult for quite some time so quite frankly there’s no excuse for any of these.
hey! so as time has passed, sollux has apologized but some people have come towards me saying that he still continues this behavior, by virtue of having porn of thirteen year old homestuck characters on their nsfw blog. these people made a google doc here. (note, i did not write this, and there is a trigger warning for csa, nsfw and such here). no apology has been made and this behavior is ongoing, so please feel free to continue signal boosting this
i would also like to address some concerns that have been voiced against this callout, firstly that i should have spoken with sollux about their behavior instead of leaning towards a callout. while normally i can understand the nature of these worries, i feel that in such a situation it is unwarranted.
let us run through the scenario in which i privately spoke to sollux. one can assume that the art would be removed from their blog. however, what would be to stop them from continuing to do this on a different blog? from continuing to interract with minors, minors who would be unaware that sollux was engaging with nsfw material of characters who were minors. so many young people have come forward to me thankful that i warned them because they were so uncomfortable with sollux’s behavior. would dropping this issue in favor of keeping this private to spare sollux’s reputation have any benefit? how could i tell myself i was helping to keep minors safe while hiding the idenity of somebody who was engaging with nsfw material of minors?
another concern i would like to address woudl be the issue of assuming that these characters were aged up so it was okay. many people have stated that this is not okay, as it still shows the desire to see characters who are children in nsfw situations. regardless, assuming it somehow was, how was i to assume that was the situation? a majority of these characters are not depicted any differently than their child counterparts. in fact, many of them looked very young. what was i supposed to assume in this situation?
further, i would like to discuss claims that sollux did not know certain characters were related. i find it hard to believe that somebody -even without any knowledge of splatoon- would not know that charaters called the squid sisters (i am aware they are not sisters) would be related, but even assuming so, there is art of characters who related in homestuck presented, which not only does sollux reblog, but has tagged as incest in the past, openly admitting that they view this pairing as incest.
the last concern to address is that sollux has been engaging in this material to cope. i would like to remind that this is not healthy coping behavior in the slightest, ad even if it were to cope, ther is no reason for sollux to be doing such publicly on a tumblr that is accessible to minors and csa victims (no writing 18+ at the top of your account doesn’t magically make this okay), and was linked on their main blog which many of the minors were familiar with and they used to interract with other minors.
ultimately, i have no regrets of writing this post, nor handling the matter in the way that i did. many minors and other csa victims were very much uncomfortable with their behavior and thanked me for coming forward, and that was ultimately the point of this post, to ensure safety of those who are affected by this behavior.
what do/did i hope for this post to accomplish? i hope to warn those who interract with sollux, particularly minors, to be wary and cautious and keep this knowledge in their mind while pursuing further interraction. ideally i would like sollux to remove themsevles from tumblr, and take a long while to think about their actions, how they may have hurt people, and only to return once they have apologized, and sworn off such material, and to not interract with any children in the meantime, not to try and shrug off this post in any manner.
i would like to state finally, i am very much wary of posting callouts. i have had false callouts addressed against me in the past and i know how painful it can be. however, with the prospect of keeping people safe and under the assumption that sollux was knowingly and publicly engaging in nsfw material of children, i felt i had no choice but to publically warn as many people as possible, which is what lead to this post.
